Domaine Messenicolas by G. Karamitros Messenicola Red 750ml – the ritual of wine at its best. With a floral white wine nose and a tender Northern European palate, from the homonymous variety of Mesenikolas, a wine that is an ambassador of Greek wine throughout the world. Monsieur Nicolas, after whom it was named, would be very proud today of this. With the taste and aroma of the legendary Black Messenicola variety and the 30% participation of the French Syrah & Carignan varieties, Messenicola is now recognized as an innovative wine with a unique personality, which after centuries has deservedly earned a place at the top.

Colour: Rich body, aftertaste full of floral and forest fruit aromas and soft tannins. Its ruby ​​color conveys memories of its long history and French origin.

Ageing: Small French oak barrels take care of its maturation for one year, while it can mature perfectly for another 10 years in the bottle.

Tasting Suggestions: It goes harmoniously with grilled red meat, with game and red sauces, with smoked cheeses and cold cuts, but also with fruits such as apple and pear.
