COMPANY UPDATE – CORONAVIRUS
Here at The Greek Deli, the quality and health attributes of our products as well as our customers satisfaction and health are a priority. At these difficult times for us all, the well being of our partners, staff, suppliers and customers is our main concern to us at the moment.
There is much uncertainty and worry out there with the potential spread of Covid-19 in the UK. We would like to consequently reassure our clients that we have put additional steps in place in all of our salons in light of the growing concerns around the Corona-virus (Covid-19).
Corona-virus (Covid-19) is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. No one knows yet how the illness is spread from person to person but the NHS says that similar viruses are spread in cough droplets. The symptoms of corona-virus are a cough, high temperature and a shortness of breath.
As a company, our Director Mr Panos Maniotis, has enforced strict health and safety measures – following the recommendations of the health authorities – in regards to how we clean, maintain and manage all our goods.
Due to the outbreak, we have also had an extraordinarily high volume of orders which we are now focusing on delivering to our customers safely and with minimal disruption. Our suppliers and delivery partners are also facing similar issues and are doing their utmost to ensure our service is not disrupted.
We would also like to inform you that our supply chain, also operates as usual and we have continuous supplies imported from Greece to accommodate all our customers’ orders nationwide.
Stay Home & Healthy we deliver your Greek goods to your Door.
In the meantime, despite the hard times ahead, it is only one month away from the Ester Holiday and we have already started taking pre-orders from our restaurants and members of the public. So feel free to message us, comment below or email us with your requirements toget your orders placed in time and delivered with no delays.
We urge everyone to follow the instructions provided by NHS UK, and feel free to message, call or email us if you have any concerns about your delivery or delivery times.
To avoid catching coronavirus, the NHS recommends that you:
- Wash your hands with soap and water often, and for at least 20 seconds each time
- Wash your hands when you get into work
- Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough or sneeze (do not cough or sneeze into your hand)
- Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
We will also be following all government directives not only on a personal but also a professional level and will be updating all our fans and customers regularly through our social pages and website. Let’s all approach this with a united front and look out for each other’s health and well-being.
