Description
LESVIGAL receives milk twice a day from 800 farmers at 10 milk collection stations, scattered throughout the island. The milk is cooled in insulated tanks and transported the same day to its facilities for cheesemaking, after first being microbiologically and chemically tested with state-of-the-art machinery in the LESVIGAL laboratory, the only one in the Prefecture of Lesvos that has a self-control code from the EL.OG.K.
