Our story goes way back to 2005, in Athens. Even though we come from different backgrounds, Panos, Marketing, Clio teaching & translating, we have both always loved good food and sourced the freshest ingredients for our everyday table. This is how we live in Greece: what we eat matters, it is who we are, it creates memories. We share food with the ones we love. We are proud of what we cook. There is always talk about food and how we cook. It is very important to us to eat well, drink beautiful wine. This was the spirit in which The Greek Delicatessen was born.

We started in 2005 trading only online, but as the demand for wholesale was increasing, in 2006 we made the big step to expand our business & we relocated in the UK with our two year old daughter Melina.

Our journey has been exciting, fulfilling, the ultimate challenge! Hard work, perseverance & dedication firmly established us as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Greek top quality ingredients, foods & wines to independent retail, the foodservice & some of the most famous Greek restaurants in the country. Looking back we would not change a thing. We have met remarkable people, built strong relationships with suppliers & customers, made friends for life, expanded our horizons.
